The President: Harold W. Thompson has been married twice. The
first one lasted seven years and the second one lasted ten years.
This middle-aged guy knows a little about separation and divorce.
The Vice President: Mary is a widow, who was married for
over thirty five years
The Idea: We
at the D Jewelry Co., LLC created a product line that serves a dual purpose.
It is not only an attractive jewelry, but acts as a healing tool
for broken hearts.
We created a line of rings with a separation in the normal "never-ending
circle". This symbolizes a point in ones life when some type
of separation came, whether by divorce or by the loss of a loved
one.
The rings serve not only the purpose of remembering a particular
separation, but also to symbolize a new beginning and positive outlook
on the future.
The Motto: Building self-esteem one person at a time. We believe
that the statement speaks for itself.
The Colors: The D Jewelry Co., LLC colors are black and silver.
We understand that some separations are going to be more painful
than others, but what we would like it stress is we believe that
every divorce is like a big black cloud over your head and it was
once said that "under every black cloud there is a silver lining.
The Rings: When Harold designed the the divorce rings (D-Rings)
he wanted a simple design that was straight to the point. It is
said that the wedding band is perfect because it is a never-ending
circle of love, so the first thing we had to do was put a separation
in the ring. We decided that the three most important events in
a failed relationship are:
1). The year you meet.
2). The year you get married.
3). The year you are separated.
To represent these three major life events, we decided to put three
bands on the side of the ring. The rings can be ordered with or without
stones, (diamonds/cz, s/birthstones). All rings are 14k gold and 14k
white gold.
The Memory Ring: Harold also designed a ring for people that
have lost a loved one. This ring is called the Memory Ring. The Memory
Ring is 1/2 14k gold and 1/2 14k white gold with a thick band on the
side. It also has a separation in it simply because you have been
separated from a loved one. It can be ordered with or without stones.
Harold had a ring made for him to remind him of an early loss of his
sister and mother. There's two birthstones in this ring to remind
him of them.
